  • These Terms of Service apply to all transactions, whether digital or printed, personalized or pre-designed

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time

  • Continued use of the Site indicates your acceptance of updates

KidsLumi offers three types of products:

A) DIGITAL PRODUCTS 📱

  • PDF eBooks (instant download)

  • Instant delivery via email

  • Downloadable personalized storybooks

  • Coloring books & activity books

  • Bundles and collections

  • Delivery: Immediately upon order confirmation

B) PRINTED PRODUCTS (via Amazon KDP) 📦

  • KidsLumi creates and provides direct links to printed books on Amazon.com

  • All printed products are fulfilled by Amazon KDP

  • KidsLumi does NOT manufacture or ship physical books directly

  • You will purchase printed books directly from Amazon through the provided link

  • Shipping, handling, and returns are Amazon’s responsibility

  • Production & delivery: 5-10 business days from Amazon

  • Amazon Prime shipping may be available

C) PERSONALIZED SERVICES ✨

  • Custom storybook creation (name, photo, details)

  • AI-generated illustrations

  • Custom bundles

  • Production time: typically 1-2 hours for digital delivery

4. ORDERING PROCESS

For Digital Products:

.2 Select product(s) and customize if applicable

.3 Add to cart and proceed to checkout

.4 Provide email and payment details

.5 Review your order summary

.6 Submit payment to finalize purchase

For Printed Products (Amazon):

.1 After purchasing on KidsLumi, you will receive an Amazon KDP link

.2 Click the link to proceed to Amazon.com

.3 Complete your purchase directly with Amazon

.4 Your payment goes to Amazon, not KidsLumi

.5 Amazon’s order confirmation supersedes KidsLumi’s confirmation

Order Acceptance:

  • We reserve the right to reject any order without explanation

  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is processed successfully

  • Order confirmation will be sent to your email

  • You will NOT receive products until order is confirmed

Customization:

  • You are responsible for accuracy of all personalization details (names, photos, preferences)

  • We are not liable for errors due to customer-provided incorrect information

  • For digital orders, you have the option to edit/regenerate before final download

  • For Amazon printed orders, any customization changes must be made on Amazon’s platform

5. PRICING & PAYMENT

Pricing Terms:

  • All prices are displayed in USD (unless otherwise stated)

  • Prices are subject to change without notice

  • Current price is confirmed at checkout

  • Taxes and shipping costs are calculated before final payment

  • For Amazon Printed Products: Amazon may apply different pricing, taxes, or shipping fees

Payment Methods:

  • Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)

  • PayPal

  • Other payment gateways displayed at checkout

  • For printed products: Payment is made directly to Amazon

Payment Processing:

  • Full payment is required at time of order placement (for digital products)

  • Payment is non-refundable unless specified in Refunds section

  • We are not liable for unauthorized charges (contact your bank/PayPal)

  • You agree to provide accurate payment information

  • You are responsible for all taxes and duties

Currency & International Orders:

  • Prices may vary by location due to local regulations

  • International customers may face currency conversion fees

  • Customer is responsible for understanding local tax implications

  • For Amazon orders: Amazon’s international pricing applies

6. DELIVERY & SHIPPING

DIGITAL PRODUCTS:

  • Delivered immediately via email upon order confirmation

  • Download link valid for 7 days

  • You are responsible for backing up files

  • No shipping costs apply

PRINTED PRODUCTS (AMAZON KDP) – How It Works:

.1 You select a personalized or pre-designed book on KidsLumi

.2 KidsLumi generates/prepares the book and provides an Amazon KDP link

.3 You will be redirected to Amazon.com to complete your purchase

.4 Payment is made directly to Amazon (not KidsLumi)

.5 Amazon KDP fulfills and ships your order

Shipping & Delivery:

  • Amazon KDP handles all printing, packaging, and shipping

  • Standard shipping: 5-10 business days

  • Prime shipping: 1-2 days (if you have Amazon Prime)

  • International shipping available via Amazon

  • Tracking information provided by Amazon

  • We are NOT liable for delivery delays, lost packages, or shipping damage

KidsLumi’s Role:

  • We create the personalized book file

  • We upload it to Amazon KDP

  • We provide you the Amazon link

  • We do NOT handle printing, shipping, or fulfillment

Amazon’s Responsibility:

  • All printing quality → contact Amazon

  • All shipping delays or damage → contact Amazon

  • All returns or refunds → contact Amazon

  • Amazon Prime benefits apply to printed books

Delays:

  • We are not liable for delays due to Amazon’s processing, carrier issues, customs, or natural disasters

  • In case of significant delay (>30 days), contact Amazon directly

7. RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

DIGITAL PRODUCTS – Refund Eligible If:

  • Product not received or download link broken

  • Product delivered corrupted or unreadable

  • Processing/delivery error on our part

DIGITAL PRODUCTS – NO Refund If:

  • You download and use the product

  • You change your mind after purchase

  • Image/customization choices are not to your liking

  • Technical issue on your device (not our fault)

Refund Process for Digital:

.1 Contact info@kidslumi.com within 14 days of purchase

.2 Provide order number and reason

.3 Refund processed within 7-10 business days to original payment method

PRINTED PRODUCTS (AMAZON KDP):

KidsLumi Does NOT Handle Returns:

  • KidsLumi does NOT process returns or refunds for printed books

  • Contact Amazon directly for all printed product issues

  • Amazon’s return policy applies

Refund Timeline:

  • Amazon processes returns within 7-14 days

  • Refunds may take 3-5 business days after return received

  • KidsLumi is NOT liable for Amazon’s refund delays

Quality Issues:

  • If you receive a damaged book from Amazon: Contact Amazon with photos

  • KidsLumi is NOT responsible for printing errors, color variations, or quality issues from Amazon

  • Amazon will investigate and resolve (reship or refund)

Important Note:

Once you click “Buy on Amazon,” you enter a contract with Amazon, not KidsLumi. Amazon’s terms and return policies apply exclusively.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

OUR OWNERSHIP:

  • All Site content (design, text, graphics, images) is owned by KidsLumi

  • KidsLumi retains all copyrights and trademarks

  • AI-generated illustrations are based on our proprietary technology

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize our content

YOUR LICENSE:

By purchasing a product, you receive a LIMITED LICENSE to:

  • Use the product for personal, non-commercial purposes

  • Download and share with immediate family members

  • Print physical copies for personal use

  • Display at home

You CANNOT:

  • Sell, resell, or commercially exploit the product

  • Claim authorship or ownership of the product

  • Modify, alter, or create derivative works (except personal use)

  • Share on public platforms or social media for commercial gain

  • Use as a template for other personalized books

  • Sublicense or distribute to third parties

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT:

  • We may use third-party assets (fonts, stock images as backgrounds)

  • You agree not to extract or repurpose these assets

  • Your license does not extend to third-party materials

9. YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Content You Provide:

  • By uploading photos, names, and personalization details, you guarantee you own all rights to this content

  • You confirm you have consent from any third parties (e.g., photos of other people or children)

  • You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents

Our Rights:

By providing personalization data and photos:

  • You grant KidsLumi the right to use this data to create your product

  • We may use your data for product delivery and customer support

  • We do NOT use your data for marketing without explicit consent

  • We do NOT share photos with third parties without consent

Indemnity:

You agree to indemnify KidsLumi against any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • Alleged infringement of rights through your provided materials

  • Breach of privacy or consent obligations

  • Violation of intellectual property rights

10. WARRANTY & DISCLAIMERS

PRODUCT WARRANTY:

We warrant that:

  • Digital products are delivered in functional format

  • Files will be created according to your specifications

  • We use reasonable efforts to ensure quality

WHAT WE DO NOT WARRANTY:

  • Products are provided “as-is” without other warranties

  • We do not guarantee specific results or satisfaction

  • We do not warrant against minor deviations in color or AI artistic interpretation

  • Website availability is not guaranteed (may experience downtime)

  • Third-party services (payment gateways, shipping) are not under our warranty

  • For Amazon Printed Products: Amazon warrants printing quality (contact Amazon for issues)

DISSATISFACTION:

  • Minor deviations in color, quality, or AI interpretation are normal

  • If dissatisfied with artistic choices, you may request regeneration before purchase

  • Once purchased, product is accepted “as-is”

11. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

KidsLumi’s total liability is limited to the price you paid for the product in question.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Lost profits, lost opportunity, or lost data

  • Emotional distress or disappointment with product

  • Third-party claims or actions

  • Carrier-related issues (lost packages, delays, damage in transit)

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, wars)

  • Your device’s technical issues or compatibility problems

FOR AMAZON KDP PRINTED PRODUCTS:

  • Amazon’s printing quality or errors

  • Amazon’s shipping delays or loss

  • Damage during Amazon’s transit

  • Color variations or ink inconsistencies

  • Paper quality issues

  • Amazon’s customer service or policies

  • Returns or refunds (handled by Amazon)

Important:

Amazon is a third party independent of KidsLumi. All disputes regarding printed books must be directed to Amazon.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK:

  • Downloading files and using products is at your own risk

  • KidsLumi is not responsible for viruses or security issues (though we take precautions)

  • You are responsible for backing up digital products

12. USER CONDUCT & PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the Site

  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff

  • Scam or defraud other customers

  • Share inappropriate, explicit, or illegal content

  • Violate intellectual property or privacy of others

  • Interfere with Site functionality or services

  • Create multiple accounts to exploit promotions

  • Attempt reverse engineering or unauthorized access

  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

CONSEQUENCES:

Violation of these terms may result in:

  • Account suspension or termination

  • Forfeiture of payment

  • Legal action

14. PAYMENT TERMS & DISPUTES

Payment Timing:

  • Payment is processed immediately at checkout

  • Refunds (if approved) take 7-10 business days

  • We are not liable for bank processing delays

Currency & Conversion:

  • All transactions display price in USD

  • Your bank may charge currency conversion fees

  • You are responsible for understanding conversion rates

Payment Disputes:

.3 If unresolved, you may file a chargeback with your bank/PayPal

.4 Repeated chargebacks may result in account termination

Failed Payments:

For Amazon Orders:

  • Disputes regarding Amazon purchases must be directed to Amazon

15. PERSONALIZATION & CUSTOMIZATION

Accuracy:

  • We are not liable for typos, misspellings, or incorrect names you provide

  • Example: If you misspell “Sarah” as “Srah,” the book will say “Srah”

Approval Before Final Order:

  • For digital orders, you can review and edit before final download

  • For printed orders (Amazon): Amazon provides preview options before printing

  • Once payment is finalized, changes are limited

Regeneration Options:

  • Digital products allow regeneration of AI illustrations (within retention period)

  • You can request changes up to final delivery

  • After delivery, regeneration is not available

16. CANCELLATION POLICY

Digital Products:

  • Cannot be cancelled after AI generation starts

  • Costs are incurred once processing begins

  • Limited refunds available (see Refunds section)

Printed Products (Amazon):

  • Cannot be cancelled once Amazon begins printing

  • You may contact us within 24 hours to attempt cancellation (no guarantee)

  • If cancelled after Amazon begins printing, full refund minus printing costs (typically 50%+)

  • Contact Amazon directly for cancellations: info@amazon.com

Force Majeure:

  • We may cancel orders due to force majeure (natural disaster, supply chain issues, etc.)

  • Refund will be provided if order cancelled by us

  • Amazon may cancel orders per its policies

17. PROMOTION & DISCOUNT CODES

Discount Codes:

  • Valid only as advertised

  • One code per purchase (unless otherwise stated)

  • Cannot be combined with other promotions

  • Non-transferable and non-refundable

  • Expiration dates are final

  • For Amazon products: Codes may apply only to KidsLumi platform, not Amazon pricing

Newsletter & Promotions:

  • By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to marketing emails

  • You can unsubscribe anytime

  • Unsubscribe requests may take up to 7 days to process

18. TERMINATION & ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

We May Terminate If:

  • You violate these Terms of Service

  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

  • You violate intellectual property or privacy rights

  • You harass our staff or other customers

  • Non-payment or payment
